...seems silly to move it now... after all these years... then again... the show at TVC will link to the Lotto machines when it's Lotto time!

I would imagine that Camelot wanted their own purpose built studio with their own security, so that the draws wouldn't get disrupted again like they did when Father's for Justice stormed the stage.

It also allows them to have all types of draw looking the same right across every channel they might be shown on - albeit, that's only BBC ONE and Challenge that I'm aware of.

As a youngster growing up in the '90s and being a fan of Deal Or No Deal I felt Noel did a really good job last night.

I can sympathise with those people who do not like Noel and that is fair enough.

However, Noel seemed to be able to combine comedy and more serious moments rather well.

With NHP there wasn't "serious" moments as such, so I don't think people should compare this show to NHP.

Judging my the audience applause they were pleased to see him back, and though the programme was let down by the satellite delay problems, this was outside of Noel's control and was always going to be an issue if doing a live programme.

On the whole, glad this was a one off programme and not made into a series, as the satellite problem for me really let down the programme.

However, in terms of "trying something different" for the lottery, this definitely succeeded and well done to Noel for being back on the BBC - you've been missed for the last 7 1/2 years!

As for the new lottery quiz show starting next week anyone got any comments on it? I think it could prove to be quite interesting but I'm not quite sure how it will work with 100 people facing just one.

I will say that even though the format is new here, the original version has been airing in Holland for the past four years. Of course, its an endemol show.

Well The Midweek Draws works much better now as it's own programme

The point of rolling out Dale for 5 minutes and using the branding of the main Saturday programme for the midweek draws which has nothing to do with it was always pointless
