Nice to see NTV back again - but the digital delay is very annoying! Why haven't they sorted out that problem yet - considering digital is supposed to be an improvement on analogue you'd think they'd be aiming to cut it down!
Oh we are aiming to cut it down, I've just asked people in the control room to move the satellite closer to earth. That'll sort it.
Thanks - I guess that makes more sense than moving the earth closer to the satellite!

is noel going to be presenting any more programmes on the bbc any time soon?
That old dear in the audience really got on my nerves. Everytime noel was in the audience, talking to camera, you could see this woman mouthing what was on the autocue. It was funny to start with.
Quite a few dodgy moments - but actually once those were smoothed out this format would be alot better than some of the National Lottery shows of recent years - especially crap like In it to win It!
It was all the phrases which annoyed me - not just the "satellite zoom" but in the draws the "time checks" and checking with the adjudicator they are ready to go!
And talking of the Lottery itself, interesting to note now the logo the BBC use on the presentation of the main draw is now virtually identical to the official logo (usually they are noticably different). Also, isn't it time the main lotto machines were replaced - the washing machine look is so dated now, especially compared to the new Dream Number machine!
And talking of Dream Number - it's particularly cruel that when you buy a Lotto ticket they give you a Dream Number even if you've not entered just to make sure you feel bad if your number comes up!
P.S. Are the Euromillions and Daily Play draws on any stations now? I know Euromillions was on Sky One at launch, but hasn't been for a while I think, while Daily Play was on Challenge - don't know if it still is though?

Don't know about Daily Play, but EuroMillions is on Challenge TV, Fridays 9.55pm.

I've not been in the country since the launch of Dream Number - damn business here, there and everywhere!!!! But my dad says that the sales of the game is very poor in the Manchester/North West area. How is the game doing in the rest of the country.
Pity the BBC decided to drop Winning Lines - loved their version of Talking Telephone Numbers especially with the Wonder Wall game at the end - now that was a gameshow!!!!
Lotto Extra was terrible.
Im not sure if I like the "Lottery HQ" thing. It seems like its lost its life, no crowd anymore. But i guess we know why theyve went more "private"

The lottery shows usually do OK regardless of how crap they are - but it's first slot was directly against The X Factor so it's got no chance. I'd imagine though it win the slot with the second show.
