They should never have ditched Winning Lines - that was my favourite.

Every time William asks a question I have to remember I'm not watching Channel 4 on a weekday afternoon Laughing

Saw The Brain Chain round bit - basically an individual Weakest Link, and would make a much better end game for it!

I didn't understand it - I assume they could only 'save' a chain rather than build up a 'save' of lots of smaller chains, since the guy who got 18 would have had time to shout 'save' at the end of his second chain?

That Mark guy will hopefully go out fairly soon - He was even directing the show! ('Tell him to stop whispering') Laughing

So there is actually hardly any skill in the final apart from quick buzzer skills!

Really wish they had the Q system on something physical rather than computer graphics

Yep - this show seems to consist of bits crudely hacked off other programmes with a pickaxe, given a brief dusting down and stuck onto the programme with a crude amalgamation of Sellotape and superglue before being placed in front of a camera with some flashy lights around them.

At least next week the final game might be a bit more tense! Now the 2 expert quizzers have gone through to the finale...

As a side note Mark was also featured on WWTBAM tonight as a phone a friend Laughing

Well tonight the show flowed a lot better (Would have done more if they hadn't needed to edit all the lottery references out!) as just a 1 hour straight through quiz show.

Even the final was tense, although I do wonder if they rigged the computer to ensure the outcome was it came down to the last question!

Why was "The National Lottery" ditched out of the title this week? This raises several questions:-

1. Did they have to film the bits again with Jamie Theakstone not mentionning The National Lottery? Shocked
2. Did they airbrush the wording "The National Lottery" out of the titles and on the graphic below William G Stewart's desk? They did something cos The National Lottery wasn't mentionned.
3. However, the screens at the back of the studio still mentionned "The National Lottery" - I noticed this as J.T. said goodbye and the camera zoomed out. Why didn't they get rid of it on there also? Shocked

Basically, why is it now NOT "The National Lottery People's Quiz" but just "The People's Quiz"??? Shocked Shocked Confused:

Bring back Julian Clary! Very Happy

They've probably finally realised it has nothing to do with The National Lottery after all...except funding maybe.

The BBC seem to have given up on this now.

Next week there are a few schedule changes due to Eurovision, but there does seem to be room in the schedule for The People's Quiz - but they've chosen to show The Weakest Link in the slot instead.

Chances are it'll be that Weakest Link Eurovision special...again!
