Enrique Iglesias is currently singing a rather dire song on BBC1 after having been introduced by the human bronze statue himself, Dale Winton.

Now, can there not be a more exciting way to do the lottery awards than to get Dale Winton involved? Rolling Eyes Last year's one with Noel Edmonds was quite good (or was that just the anniversary programme?)

It may have been a minor anniversary, or maybe not ... it was then 12 years since the National Lottery first started.

12 quite a 'round' number (I know it's not actually round) so I would have said that it was more than minor. Though if they'd celebrated a decade of National Lotto, then they might not have wanted to make a big deal of it.

Where was this filmed? Was it in TC1 at Television Centre because they managed to make it look especially large for some reason? Much larger than those dreadful shows When Will I Be Famous and Dance X did anyway.

The set reminded me of the brief look that i took of a cross between top of the pops and the celebrity & pro duet competition 'just the two of us'
