Apparently, Ben Shepherd is presenting the new series which begins soon...where's Dermot gone?

Not a good decision... Rolling Eyes

Mmm... The X Factor - had you not noticed?

I think though there might still even be Dermot editions which haven't aired yet.

Yeah - I had realized that...but even so, I thought Dermot would be presenting as this wouldn't take too much of his time up to crack off 10 episodes or so would it? Especially as this will probably start airing before the X Factor starts recording again?

Most lottery shows though tend now to have two series a year, so an X Factor clash is inevitable, and indeed did happen last year during the audition stage for a couple of weeks.

I imagine too his X Factor contract pretty much blocked him from doing it too.

Is it mandatory for this show to have a wooden host or something? It really needs livening up a bit and Shepard is totally the wrong man for the job. He's the male Kate Thornton, utterly generic.

Well, it could be Myleene Klass or Julian "Vanessa Feltz kissed me on the bottom earlier" Clary.

Dermot's under exclusive contract to ITV now (apart from his Radio 2 show, which is a specific exception).

Although he is very easy on the eye.

But he and I aren't talking since he married.

Someone like Steve Jones, from T4 would of been better, this is an awful dissicsion shame Dermot couldn't present it any more.

We're definately erring towards wanting eye-candy presenters for things, aren't we?! Laughing

By the way, it should be "would have been". Grammar, my dear fellow, grammar! Smile
