N24 presenters

Did anyone notice at 2pm Liz Pike and Chris Eakin were presenting, then at 3pm Liz had gone and was replaced by Jane Hill, co-presenting with Chris.  Jane doesn't normally come on until now with Matthew Amroliwala, and according to the EPG they're the presenters on at 4.  Does anyone know what happened to Liz at 3pm?
Now Peter Dobbie is presenting with Jane - Matthew is nowhere to be seen! What is going on!?

Maybe she was taken ill. Can you imagine what it must be like if you suddenly felt ill during a live bulletin, that would be so bad.

I know - isn't it great to have Chris Eakin on! He's gorge! But it's a shame Matthew wasn't! He's gorge too!

Also, you're lucky your EPG tells you who's on. Mine just says

I mean, what's the point in having the info bit if you don't get info! A small baby could've worked out that!

I can reveal that Liz had a sore throat and that's why Jane went on an hour early!

That happened to Anna Botting a couple of months ago. Her co-presenter on the day informed viewers in a manner that wouldn't be out of place at a school!! 'Anna's not feeling too well, so she's gone home.' Often the sports presenters on Sky are struggling to speak yet continue presenting their slots. Tom Skippings yesterday appeared to be having difficulties & a couple of weeks back, Jon Desborough.

Must be awful if you're on a live three hour shift!!

Jane hill has started at three once before.

Didn't something like this also happen yesterday (Sunday)? Did Anna Jones appear at 5pm on her own (dunno if she did 4pm as well), then Chris Lowe joined her at 7pm and they both went through 'til 12am - she did at least 7 hours!

Again I think that was because Liz was not feeling 100 per cent. But being the summer lots of the regular presenters are on leave so harder to find replacements at the last minute.

I expect that Peter Dobbie was planned, I guess Matthew is on leave.
