but won't make them available yet on your site? Saving them for a rainy day?
So apart from the fact the Soundz are the most popular part of your site, you're interested in how tv pres has evolved...hence including a lot of archive material in there then in the future?

I haven'd said what Identz has planned - its just you lot are speculating.
When I have time, we will update the site - I know that Mr Ison has a few treats up his sleeve. I, however will be taking a bit of a backseat in the site, with gathering media for the site. I'm sure James Ison is quite capable of updating the site after its re-design this weekend.

And what would I do with the collection of television idents I have on video? Identz will stay for at least another 2 years when the domain expires!
This whole forum is becoming extremely childish with everyone sniping at everyone else, not just specific threads. I'm disappearing from it very soon unless people grow up and act like the adults they claim to be.

As for your whipping of the 'Great God Asa', you are the one who is incorrect regarding vamps. Depending which camp you come from, they can be called vamps
OR
beds, in the same way as DOGs are Bugs, CSO is ChromaKey etc.
I would be interested in hearing where you've got all your material from (vamps, beds or whatever you wish to call them). If they are off-air recordings, then poor you. If you'd had the common courtesy to be polite to folk you may have got the genuine article. But heay ho - you make your bed (no pun intended! ha ha) and sleep in it!

While I'm here Jamez, I've just been to your site and downloaded one of your clips - OK, so it's the genuine thing, but where's the new stuff? Has your supplier dried up? Oh yeah - he works at ITN now doesn't he!
Also - 'BBC World Special Themes (Orbit)'. As far as I know, Orbit TV ceased it's connection with the BBC when BBC Arabic stopped broadcasting way back in the mid 1990's, and has never had ties with BBC World, so it must be 'special'

Orbit was (don't know if they're still in business) a satellite station a bit like Sky, based in Rome & owned by a Saudi Prince. BBC Arabic provided a news service for it, which predominantely was viewed in Saudi. The thing about it though was very few people in Saudi could view it as satellite dishes are/were strictly controlled and only a select few could own one
The music Jamez has on his site labelled 'Orbit' never appeared on Arabic. I suspect it's a tiplyng error, but throughout his site & threads it keeps coming up!
