Mytv has closed

I was channel hopping and i click onto mytv and it said it had closed but it is going on thr 6th any thoughts on why they have decided to do this

Brexit? Seems like they closed unwillingly, they're saying they'll see their viewers soon.

Well I’ve never seen the kind of closedown screen that mytv is displaying at the moment...

I mean the style of it which I’m guessing is coming from the broadcaster or could it have been put in by the satellite provider who supply them the broadcast space?

If its the one on Sky with the blue background and the search-and-scan banner, that's generated by the box and means there is no transmission coming from the satellite on that transponder. (I don't have Sky now so I presume that's what you're referring to)

You now can’t watch it on sky go, it comes up with a message saying this channel is unavailable to watch online.

This is what is shown on 190 on Sky.

That looks like its being aired by the broadcaster, so they are still transmitting it seems. If you can use the search and scan banner and that image doesn't vanish, then that's what they are "showing" at this time. It'll come off Sky eventually.
