The only issue for me with them using the online service name is that trailers are now having to say "catch up on My5 online" to avoid confusion with the channel, even though I haven't seen any promotion for the channel.

It's the whole BBC News and BBC News Channel all over again. Wink
London Lite, Brekkie and fanoftv gave kudos

5 Later is a better name, and would have sat nicely along with the other spin-offs. They should have stuck to this and not went for the ill fated +24 channel or a service that is all in name 5 Later but called the same as their on demand service. *sigh*

In fact, up until very recently it came from a different building to the main Channel 5!

As did all of 5's digital channels - I think it's more of a case that the main Channel 5 has moved in with the rest Smile

Not quite - 5USA and 5Star moved across along with the main channel (possibly moved back in their case, I might be wrong but I think it's where they came from a few years ago).

Meanwhile +24 and Spike only had to move across an atrium. Smile

Having looked at the channel's content and schedule - it's a far better use of a 24 hour Freeview stream than C5+24 ever was.

But the programming however is just a mire of factual content from the main channel, almost bordering to exploitative territory with three hours worth of benefits programmes on a Saturday night.

It's early days, but I do hold out hope for multichannel content to come on My5.
