YES there are four ident.

You can see different version that doesn't seem to be on line here: TVLIVE youtube channel.

How do they get around differentiating the TV channel from the catch up platform? I noticed they called it 'My5 TV' in one of those promos but then they just called it 'My5' in the other and the ident.

Or is it just plain confusing?

I really hope that My5 is the channel Paramount will be replacing. It really is a waste of bandwidth.

IN the freeview thread is been point out there are some spare slots:

COM4 - 2 vacant hours/day
COM5 - 13 hours
COM6 - 21 hours

It looks like the safest candidate for replacement. There isn't much capacity on the three COM multiplexes, and by replacing a channel that adds relatively little to the Freeview lineup with a new channel with superior content, this problem is allayed.

Depends if My5 is actually making a bit of ad revenue for Channel 5 on the cheap. It is, markedly better than a 24 hour timeshift channel and forms the original concept that Channel 5 had conceived with 5Later (before the +24 nonsense). However the content shown on My5 leaves a lot to be desired - and even its own original programming wasn't up to snuff (Comedy Bigmouths was meh as far as it stands).

I can see it being replaced, but seeing that Viva managed to be kept on DTT after the launch of Spike (despite plans to remove it), I reckon the same could happen to My5.

A 4-5 hour primetime, or late prime, slot would be more than suffice for My5.

I think one of the earlier suggestions to shunt My5 to one of the DVB-T2 Freeview muxes as Viacom did with Viva is the more sensible option, leaving Paramount to be available to homes with DVB-T only receivers.
