I really like My Hero. I wonder if the writers will ever consider turning it into a comedy, you know put a few jokes in it.

Very Happy very good,

I think a funny line in my hero would be deemed very inappropriate and cause a flood of complaints to the BBC Wink

Oh look it's James Dreyfus being camp.... such a talented actor! Laughing

I do try to like this comedy but it's started to get a little stale, and those kids really do freak me out.

PS: There are eight episodes this series.

seeing as none of us, myself included, are qualified lexicographers
why do some expect 100% perfect english spellings and grammar on here, all the time.

Not qualified lexicographers, or people expecting perfection, just people who have achieved a reasonable level of literacy who get very irritated by people too lazy or stupid to do the same. In any case, if they can't even be bothered to spell the names of the people involved, who is interested in their views?

Am i the only one who thought they got away with it then? I enjoyed it and thought he played the part very well.

I think it was just completely and utterly destroyed by the change of character as well as the change of actor. And there was no focus on the whole "rescuing" thing. There normally is.

Maybe episode two will be better?

Nic.

At least they explained the changeover.

Most sitcoms they don't explain the change of actor.

I think if people don't like him, instead of axing it they should change again, this time into Tony Gardner. And this time it should be like a doctor who regeneration and maybe it could even be part of the episode this time!

In My Hero I though they might have had 'Ardel' George change into 'James' george after watching an episode of Dr Who where he regenerates

I watched My Hero for the very last time today. The programme really has gone to the dogs! It's not funny at all now (mind you it was't very funny to begin with!).
