I wonder why this coming Good Friday, the BBC are showing a rerun from series 4, and the fourth episode of the new series isn't until the Friday after?

Considering it hadn't had a reply in it since March 17th, you can't expect me to have remembered there was a Comedy Thread.

No harm done making this new one, is there?

anyway.....

I don't think that the new series (although good) is as good as previous series of My Family

maybe it's because Nick isn't in it at the moment Confused

Having no Nick in the show is a bit of a let down, he apparently appears in one or two. But I sitll think the show has been very good and they've been trying very hard to compensate without Nick, agreed it's not as funnier as the previous series but it still isn't bad, the 1st episode in this series has been the best so far, plus the one the other night was good.

To be honest the entire schedule for Good Friday is rubbish. There is a repeat of My Family, a repeat of Alistair McGowen and some irritating BBC3 strand that no one hardly watches because of the confusion that could entail when you switch to BBC1 and see BBC3!

Between 10.25pm and 1.25am on Good Friday night, is a three hour wasteland of scheduling on BBC1. "Wossy" surely could have had a week off as it's Good Friday and I'm sure there is a film somewhere that could have been shown.

For example, the Movie "The Mexican" premiered last Tuesday night. Why not premiere it on Good Friday night instead? There is not ONE movie premiere on BBC1, BBC2 or ITV over Easter. The schedules are becoming more Americanised every day. Let's hope the new DG is not Lorraine Heggessey and whoever it is sacks her. Someone needs to overhaul the schedules on BBC1. ITV1 are now improving. Obviously their lessons have been learnt.
