Music TeleVision no more

I've always wanted to MTV2 to change its name since it launched as it didn't reflect the primary MTV at all. I didn't see why their other channels were named after their music genre and MTV2 wasn't - it's not even similar to the American MTV2 channel!

To be fair, though, I couldn't give a toss now. It's also a shame to see a respectible from of VH1 disappear; if Classics gets tampered with, I'll be rather unhappy...

Looks like someone published that too early, it's now reverted back to the old site and branding.

Where does this insanity end? The programme in the top left corner with logos plastered over the rest of the screen?

I thought that earlier. Do they do this sort of thing in the US with the nick branding? I thought it was a bit too hopeful for how the dog sits in the bottom right. I think the strangest thing is the replay dog, surely there's someway that they could have put it around the nick dog somewhere in the bottom right.
I think I prefer the dog's that animate to promote something rather than having a permanent promotion on screen. I've also noticed that Disney Channel are terrible for adding a giant promo on screen counting down, when they could actually get away with animating it with the DC logo outline.

Going back to the earlier point, is this just a UK thing or do they do equally cluttered things in the US & around the world?

Still no competition for the insane 3d Carousel EPG on Disney XD.

I get the theory that it's only this bad on kids channels so the kids of the next generation get desensitised to dogs.

That way they would not notice the mild in comparison blocks of colour on other channels.
