Or online, which seems to be taking over the likes of MTV these days anyway.
I never bother watching the music channels - the adverts seem to be on for ages, all the time.

MTV ONE is crap, its just being rebadged, the fact is they play no music, show rubbish shows, you get more music on foreign versions of MTV!

Bit rubbish innit. The font they've used looks cheap - the spacing's all to cock. The previous looks for MTV2 and MTV Hits were miles better.

Well that can't be real for a start. They don't even play music videos on the MTV channel no more
They do - but only at very odd times in the schedule (we're talking very early hours of the morning) or occasionally in between programmes. With this rebrand, though, looks like the name "Music Television" is no longer spelt out underneath the logo.
When did the rebrand actually happen BTW? At 9am this morning the old logos were still on air but by lunchtime the new ones had made an appearance. MTV Flux's logo is also still the same.

MTV Hits and MTV Flux branding remains unchanged - seems a bit silly for them to do the others but leave those out - kind of defeats the object of having some sort of continuity for the looks of the channels. I have to say, I think the new logos look ncie - but I still think they should start putting them at the bottom right of the screen (like US TV) instead of the top left/right - that way it wouldn't block people's heads, etc at the top of the screen. Other than that, looks okay. The graphics on MTV2 have crashed at the moment though.
Edit: I think MTV Hits is showing the old graphics at the moment because of this on-screen text thingy...?

I really wonder why the Rock genre is so special it gets to be called MTV2 and not MTV Rock or something. Im my opinion, TMF should be renamed MTV2 with it being alot more similar to MTV, and shows alot of MTV programming like Cribs, Hogan Knows Best, Punk'd and a film now and again. MTV2 deserves to be called MTV Rock just to maintain the categorical range of channels, and personally, the music shown on MTV2 is utter sh!te.

The bugs look quite nice and uniform (except the MTV Hits one which seems to be reverting back to the old one) Quite nice the way that they animate into the cartoon characters for the break

Good.
