MTV Live channel moves on Virgin Media

V Festival is to begin soon and the MTV Live HD channel is moved to channel 100 (the first channel on Virgin's guide).

Isn't that breaking rules about the PSBs taking the first 5 slots?

101, 102, 103, 104 and 105. Not 100...

But by the same measure you could add channels 99, 98, 97... At what point do they no longer have due prominence?

No, because channel 100 is used for rolling previews and is the top of the EPG anyway. They did the same with BT Sport Showcase during the Champions League Final.

I don't think the wording says they need the "first five slots" anyway, just that they need to be placed prominently. All being on the first page of the guide satisfies this requirement, IIRC.
