MTV free weekend

In a recent copy of sky mag (probably the most recent one), I'm sure there was a bit mentioning that all the MTV channels would be free for a weekend in december, it hasn't happened yet - I thought it was well before christmas.

Did I actually read that or isn't it happening?

(I know the mtv channels are arse btw, I just miss mtv2 - which usually isnt)

If anything goes free for a weekend its usually the portfolio of Disney Channels. But since they changed the Sky package that they're bundled with, they may decide not to do this any longer.

Music Choice was free last weekend. Are you thinking of that?

Hmm, it could well have been Music Choice, and I just got muddled up.

It was Music Choice. Music Choice extra becomes free. It's usually on the 7th, 8th and 9th or 6th, 7th and 8th of a month. I think the last one was in October. It's all publicity but the channels are actually quite good!
