MTV Dance - NEW LOOK

MTV Dance will have a new identity from AUGUST 3.

There will be new:
Logo
All on-screen graphics
5 stings
5 programme titles
Music

The project was designed in Illustrator

Any plans for MTV, it's 20 years old on August 1st, maybe they'll have some special birthday idents ?

I've seen a 1 minute film of MTV idents from the past 20 years broadcast over the Chemical Bros. 'Block Rockin' Beats' track.

Probably leading upto the big day!

So MTV was 20 year young yesterday, and with it, a nice sparklying 20th Anniversary ident.

Their party programme (repeated on Friday night, 9.00pm) featured clips and news from the past 20 years with a few looks at the MTV logo at the time.

All of the above will be featured on the TV Archive web site from 4pm 2/8/01 (i must goto bed first that's a good idea!)

Okay, are you sure about this new look MTV Dance? They've only had the current one for about three weeks! Are you sure it's not MTV Base or something?

So what happened to the alleged new look for MTV Dance. It's Aug. 3rd, well? It's looking the same to me
