Yes! I'm really happy about this - it sounds like we'll be adopting the American MTV logo, which I think looks great over there.

The new logos are on the MTV UK site already, in preparation for tomorrow.

They don't look too bad there, to be honest. Especially with the channel name underneath.

Anyone else think the VH1 brand is extremely neglected over here?

MTV's promo for Teen Dad is already using the new promo endboard, which is similar to the old one.

Really hope they finally go widescreen tomorrow.

When do you think the changes will happen, at midnight or 6 am?

Seems the only channel that has changed so far is MTV Rocks.

All change except for MTVN HD. And no widescreen.

They've massively increased the size of the logos, but thankfully all the other on-screen guff seems to be slightly less in-your-face.

MTV and MTV+1 are currently showing programmes in both letterbox and pillarbox mode at the same time (the music channels are still just letterbox mode).

The logos have increased in size on the music channels, but haven't changed much on MTV or MTV+1

Scrap that, I think MTV is in widescreen. It probably explains the daft way 16 and Pregnant is being shown.
