Not so sure about Mr & Mrs unless they plan to make it a late night x rated series!! The one gameshow I would love to see brought back however would be the Crystal Maze.

It's not the first time, who remembers the poor version they did with Julian Clary? It was one of ITV's 'big' shows to replace News At Ten in 1999, and was binned rather quickly...

They'd have a very hard job to bring 3-2-1 back - Ted Rogers has been dead for the last five years!

In any case it has to be one of the most contrived, tedious quizzes ever made - when the clues relating to the prizes were read out by the guest performers, they were so obscure you needed psychic powers to crack them.

Binning it was the best thing ITV ever did!

No pun intended....? Laughing

There are some shows that should be laid to rest, only as people can still remember them fondly, I don't object to Challenge TV repeats, but bringing something back is different. I found myself watching It's A Knockout on Challenge earlier and you just couldn't see that coming back, I know Channel 5 did a few years ago, but it just looks really naff compared to today's standards.

Typical ITV again - if something doesn't work the first couple of weeks, dump it. The remaining episodes were shown, but if it suffered it was more due to ITV's mismanagement.

The original Mr and Mrs was never prime-time anyway, it was always teatime or lunchtime. So moving to prime time, it had a lot to live up to.

Will this one get filmed before a bunch of pensioners in Carlisle? Smile

I have a feeling it will be placed into the daytime schedule somewhere.

Mr Batey must be in his 70's by now bless him! Shocked

Mr Batey is 77! Mind you, old Brucie's still dancing.

Nowadays, I think its more the case of, if something doesn't work the first couple of weeks - ram it in viewers faces!
