Sounds about right, presumably Thames/Pearson/Freemantle programme sales departments distributed it, but now don't. This would explain why its recently started appearing on TV again

I don't know if it because of that, there was an interview in the Radio Times last November with Rowan Atkinson and he wanted to end Mr Bean for a few years as he got bored of playing him, but said that he would leave it for a generation, but it had been off for 5 years or so, so you can see what he means, quite right too, as the demand for Mr Bean again has proved popular as the repeats do okay in the ratings and they've brought out a DVD and they're bringing out another during the Summer.

I have a DVD recorder that only does Region 2, but I have them all on VHS anyway, I'm just waiting to replace them on DVD, I've bought the first DVD they released last year. I've been aware of that DVD for some time now, but I've never owned a Multi-Region DVD Player, but whatever suits you.

You do own a muti-region player, everyone does. The whole region setting thing is a joke. Its like the easiest code to crack in the world

"I can't play this dvd becuase its region 1 and mine is region 2'' Oh please you people are so funny, .... no offence Very Happy

Same hear,

I think Mr bean is a great comedy. I mean my mum likes the Christmas one the Turkey on his head, that was so funny we all wet ourselfs though laughter.

Saying "no offence" won't guarantee you won't cause any - while I'm not personally offended I do find your tone a bit offensive. It may be "the easiest code to crack in the world" to you but not everyone is as technically confident or knowledgeable as you. And incidently I've never found a region hack that works on my admittedly quite old DVD player - but I try not to watch NTSC discs if I can help it anyway.

Err yes, anyway, Mr. Bean. I remember the first three well because I had them on VHS, but after that it gets hazy. I saw one a few years back where he was in a hotel and it was embarrassingly unfunny.

Anyone remember that Rowan Atkinson Live thing where he did the falling-asleep-in-church bit that ended up in Mr. Bean?
