I don't know if it because of that, there was an interview in the Radio Times last November with Rowan Atkinson and he wanted to end Mr Bean for a few years as he got bored of playing him, but said that he would leave it for a generation, but it had been off for 5 years or so, so you can see what he means, quite right too, as the demand for Mr Bean again has proved popular as the repeats do okay in the ratings and they've brought out a DVD and they're bringing out another during the Summer.
