From November 12th, This Morning will be cut back.
30% of viewers have been lost since Richard and Judy left the show.
It will now be on from 10.30-12.00noon.
The half an hour slot at 12noon will be taken by 'The Biggest Game In Town'.
This therefore will mean other changes during afternoons
Probably been their plan for a while, especially with Night and Day launching, i'm also guessing Live Talk will be back. Oh how I yearn for the ITV schedule of a couple of years ago, with a quiz show, the time the place(just because its better than tricia[i'd watch the wright stuff anyway]), then this morning.... you get the idea, but you can stick Live Talk in later rather than anything like Vanessa.
And just when do Richard & Booby start on Channel 4 ? I reckon they'll regret making the move, they won't have as nearly a big an audience on Channel 4. I don't think people can be bothered with them any more.

Richard and Judy could have made a series of 'Eye of the Storm' and 'We Can work It Out' by now!
The prlbem that ITV have is that it wasn't This Morning, it was Richard and Judy. Without them it is frankly nothing.
I think that their new show probably will be a success, but can you honestly blame them for leaving ITV? It's being beaten constantly by BBC One - even Breakfast gets more viewers than GMTV for god's sake - it's not produced anything fresh and original for years and is re-using a dated and boring schedule.
To be honest, I don't think that Richard and Judy will be expecting the same audience. It's at a totally different time to This Morning, and is therefore obviously going for a totally different market.
No No No No No, as often is the case you are wrong. This Morning isn't and wasn't just Richard & Judy, although the Richard & Judy factor was part of the reason for it's success. But over the past few years the show hasn't been about just them 2. They've had copious amounts of holidays, Judy had a lengthy spell of sickness and they never worked Friday's for the past few years. The editions on Fridays were amongst some of the highest rated.
No, the problem is much more complex than that, they've taken away the intimacy which Richard & Judy had, and to some extent Fern & John Leslie have that too. The mistake they made was to stick 2 women on that the viewers couldn't relate to and mess with the format. I am sure now that Ferns arrival has been brought forward This Morning will make a full recovery.

Cat, from what source did you find that Breakfast has more viewers than GMTV - it never wins in the ratings.
I HATE Richard and Judy. Richard is very arrogant - thinks he is cool but he isn't and never wil be, has a crap mullit haircut and is a shoplifter. Judy seems scared of the camera, is ugly as sin and must be an alcoholic - have you seen her shake?! Richard and Judy must die - they are sooo over exposed - They aren't THAT popular, every other series they have presented have been cancelled - let's hope they are left on the scrap heap after their C4 show crumbles - I can wish.
