Anyone else lost ABC1 from the EPG?

I lost it from the main EPG but it was still broadcasting as I found it amongst my favourites list - but when I went to adjust it to incorporate More4+1 it's gone again.

Just done another rescan and it's still not there!

Can you still receive other channels on the ITV/SDN mux such as Bid TV?

Yes, it's all fine but ABC1 has gone (though TCM, which timeshares with it has gone!).

As I said before even when it went from my main list I knew it was still there as I could access it via my favourites list - but when I edited my favourites to include More4+1 it went!

For me, ABC1 is still available from Sutton Coldfield.

However, Quizcall is virtually unwatchable now - the compression on the channel makes it look like a low bit rate realplayer video

Ooh, 85 channels now in my list adding More4+1 to the line-up. And my ABC1 is still there.

Quizcall - I often wonder what is going on with this channel, in terms of amount of on-screen crap, content and general picture quality. Glad to know I'm not the only one who's noticed the channel's looking like a web streamed video at the moment.

Talking of Quizcall - someone mentioned when talking about ITV4 that viewers in the Border Region still can't receive it. Does this mean C4 is also restricted to broadcasting three channels on Mux 2 in the Border region?

(And still no ABC1!)

Brekkie Boy - which transmitter do you receive? I ask as 'officially' abc1 isn't supposed to be available in Wales (and you have HTV Wales as your region).

It's a possibility it got on to your box originally from a strong secondary signal, and at the last retune your box didn't pick it up again, but knowing which is your primary transmitter will answer that.

Sorry to jump in here but if I remember correctly Brekkie's receiving it from the same one as me - The Wrekin which just cover's the Welsh marches and border...

Well, that were fun.

I have a North West and Wales aerial feeding into my Freeview box, and generally it picks up the North West SDN mux and occassionally the Welsh one too. I know I'm picking up both though as I'm getting two versions of Five.

It's a weird problem that's baffled me and will probably sort itself out eventually - I'm not too worried about missing the 30th re-run of Home Improvement.

Notice Sky Travel still hasn't been renamed Sky Three!
