mhm, I also wondered if it may have been a deliberate artistic intention, to purposely make it seem slightly off/imperfect... but that doesn't fit with the rest of the set so I'll err on the side of c*ck up.
That one is a bit of a mindf*ck. There's not quite enough physical context for my brain to be convinced it's a genuine parallax effect - instead it feels like a badly tracked composite shot.

Oh, I don't like that either. I had forgotten.
Hm, didn't get that feeling at all because I figured it was a window looking out.

From this shot in the ident, I thought it was supposed to be a mirror... but the long reveal on MitM's website makes it look like a window... Either way, the two objects don't track at the same speed - especially the "wall" shot - it speeds up and slows down at different times and rates to the "flippers" shot.
Not a fan of this ident, as the inset zooms out at a different pace to the wall, which just looks jarring...

That's not what I asked. I asked why people think they are "clean"? I don't find tens (or hundreds) of flapperboards attached to inanimate objects making for a clean image. Clean to me suggests a lack of objects or a lack of clutter. These seem to be the opposite of that.
Indeed, in that first ident shown - with the circular thing on the wall - the tiles were so distracting my eyes weren't drawn to the logo forming up on the right.

Thinking something is fresh is subjective.
