Well yes i relised that now but still , its not as good as the e4/4 logo but it could look a lot better on screen

If it is a mock, I'd love to speak to the designer - apart from the colour, the logo is very good!

That's surprising, as something like that in the Mocl Designs section would get completely slated, with people saying something like 'that's a five minute job' etc.

I wouldn't slate the logo, just the colour. Like I said, I think the logo is good, whoever done it.

To be honest, I think tht it's the choice of font which makes it nasty for me. Of course, the background is not to my taste but that is hardly going to be commercially used, it's more of something to put the design on.

It's the fact that Channel Four have made contemporary and original fonts and ideas on two platforms already, and here they see to be trying to impress with something that looks like Arial Narrow, something which does not make good impressions for a spanking new channel IMO.

If this was in Mocks, i'd give it a 6/10 on the condition the font is changed to something which follows the current offerings from C4 and E4.

I expect More4 will get it's own font like E4 and FilmFour - and the E4 logo is only 3D (in the C4 style) on the C4/E4 cross-promotions. This logo could quite easily be made into 3D for these promos.


I quite like it myself (apart from colours - but printed versions are very rarely the same as on TV). Not something I'd have expected!

Also, keeps in line with the idea of each channel having it's own "4" logo.

I was expecting the logo based on something like the above where the 'More' would be engraved above or below the 4, and would prefer it like this on the actual logo instead of the word being incorporated onto the design.

I also like it - although the fact that the black blocks make up a "4" wasn't immediately obvious to me... Other than that, I think it's very good, and fits in well with Channel 4 and E4. I really like the way Channel 4 have completely different logos for each of their channels - it certainly allows for masses more creativity when it comes to idents and graphics, and gives each channel its own distinct feel and identity.

I'm really looking forward to seeing what they have come up with in the way of idents - if the quality of Channel 4 and E4's current presentation is anything to go by, my expectations are high.

Are you sure?! It looks more like the LIVINGtv font to me, with the rounded tips and corners.



E4 looks nothing like C4, I see no reason why More4 couldn't look even more different. I personally think it's great that Channel Four can have 3 channels that look totally separate from each other.

Logo looks good to me. Not too sure about the colour though. Very much looking forward to seeing this channel. Here's hoping that it goes some way to filling the void that BBC Knowledge left behind (god, that was a great channel).

50 Greatest Documentaries - repeat of the C4 show (don't think it's aired yet) accompanied by some of the documentaries themselves!
Moore4 - a season dedicated to Michael Moore airs in 2006, along with one on Nick Broomfield


No mention of any shows such as Grand Designs and Property Ladder airing on More4 (I think Discovery have the digital rights).

Also, will there be a More4+1?
