I agree. More 4 is really making quite an impression, and that is before it has even been launched! However, I am getting a bit of a sour taste due to the fact that the show - which IMO should be strong, M4 exclusive content - is being repeated on it's sister mainstream channel barely a week later.
Still,should be a bit of an eye-opener...

Agree with you entirly and More4 really should have AVSS a litte longer, but is it purly a case of broadcasting it before MrBlunketts lawyers have a libel action in the courts?
Anyway roll on Monday...

Agreed. It seems now the delay between "digital" transmission and "analogue" screening for most things is little more than a week, when the standard used to be six months! It is the highlight of the launch night though - and the highlight of the first week!
One thing that does worry me about the launch night is the first episode of The Daily Show on Monday will be last Thursdays, so may not be as topical as viewers expect. TDS is broadcast Mon to Thu in the US, so expecting it Tue-Fri here, so no idea what they'll use to fill the Monday slot.
Also, though More4 News is a flagship of the channel, for a station that seems to be wanting to promote itself as more of a general "Adult Entertainment" network, it seems a strange thing to launch with!

Brekkie, Fancy telling that to the "Kleenex" brigade?
To be fair though it does seem to be an odd thing to launch with. I'd have thought they'd of launched an hour earlier or something like that, not simply straight into a news bulletin.
Even N24 had a programme before the news...

In the channel's first week, TDS is Mon-Thu, with Inside the West Wing at 8.30 on Friday.
But it seems to be scheduled for all 5 nights in week 2.

Just wondering has it apperared on anyone EPG yet, or does anyone have any idea on channel number or fequency?

Its going to be on 165.
But, Sky showing its true colours of contempt for its Sky+ subscribers does not plan to make the allocation live untill tomorrow (Monday). Hopefully this will occour overnight rather than at 2000Hrs!
