So the More4 logo should appear on Freevew website some time in the next decade then, if their current form is anything to go by:

Gulp Gulp chomp chomp swallow swallow.

I'm eating my words. The More4 logo has appeared BEFORE the channel has lauched!

Notice the Guardian this week and last are giving away FilmFour DVDs, with the More4 logo featuring in the ad (though not C4).

There will be a trail for More4 with this weeks free East is East DVD.

All good. What a fantastic way to publise the channel.

The "Blunkett may sue" article all over the press today - one thing of note in the article I read though was it said C4 will be screening it ten days later than More4, so that's the Thursday of the next week!

It seems too soon to me - now more and more people have these digital channels the "exclusive programmes" on them seem to be getting onto their parent channel quicker and quicker!

very good point. Channel 4 probably knew the mini furore it would cause. So they make it the centrepiece of their new channel launch. Job done.

Strangly tonight the Freeview EPG has a schedule up for More4, from next Saturday I think, though it's running two minutes (and eight days) early!

I think someone's said their testing tonight / this weekend.

I don't know if this is linked, but the test transmissions on Sky have programme information on the search and scan banner too, even though they're just showing the looped promo.

According to this weeks listings, More4's repeats of ER from the very beginning actually begin with Series 1, episode 3. Any reason why eps 1&2 couldn't be shown at 6pm?

Also noticed both More4 and Discovery RealTime will be screening Grand Designs Abroad next week - so some rights overlap there, as I think there has only been one series of this!

And also, on the EPG last night (which was programme for Sat 16 Oct) they had "The Best of Last Word", screening at around midnight.

Eps 1&2 involve the drug use & overdose of Carol Hathaway, probably just a little bit too strong for early evening.

The problem with showing ER at tea-time is that it will need to be edited, quite a lot in some episodes.

OK. Not an ER (or any other medical drama) viewer so can't comment much on the nature of it, but drug use / overdoses feature quite regularly in UK soaps, notably in C4's very own Brookside!
