When this does happen perhaps it's time to bring in some fresh faces - I'd love to wake to Deborah MacKenzie and Richard Bilton; or perhaps promote Max Foster and Catherine Marston to presenting Weekend Breakfast slots??
I would think BBC ONE would continue to show News 24 so it is avaliable on more channels than one, or could repeat prime time programmes during the night so people who missed them can tape them.
Nice idea but it would probably cost the BBC too much in repeat fees to show prime time programmes to a very small audience. I'd be happy with the closedown again, or rotating menu of the following day's programmes.
I'd like a medley of all the BBC1 idents in full...but we can but dream.

Will Brreakfast with frost follow at 09.00 on sunday mornings and are they now going to use the Breakfast studio at weekends?
Well Breakfast and Breakfast with Frost both come from the same studio so Breakfast will have to come from News24.

I have a suggestion.
If they never get BBC1 or BBC2 English regions up on SKY etc, why don't they repeat each of the regional news programmes overnight, which would enable people to see their own local news, instead of UK Today, & this would please the insominacs & shift workers as well !

Hardtalk is usually aired on BBC1 at 0330, but for the time being it's on at 0430
When BBC Three and BBC Four launch properly with those names will the BBC put BBC News 24 on Knowledge and take it off One? It would be better if they had some sort of output on the channels overnight.
I think it would be great if they showed most of the BBC News 24 programmes on Four like Dateline London - anyone agree?
Apparently when BBC4 comes into effect, it will show BBC World's output during the mornings.
