Clearly the idea with that logo is to reference the original multi-coloured version of Channel 4's blocks logo. I definitely prefer More4's current logo, and think that if they must change it, they should make it a variation of the Channel 4 logo. The main problem with the identities of the 4 channels is that they don't match each other. Individually, they're fine, but they're not coherent.
the colours actually reference the tv shows as they'll be showing more cooking, gardening shows like that which to them is all about colour, so they use the colour to represent this.
One thing that gets me about the More4 relaunch - isn't it going to massively tread on the toes of "Project Mashup" when/if that happens, leaving More4 once again as the rump channel?
How odd - the +1 service was at one point available on all 3 major platforms, but now is just with Sky. I wonder if this will be a redesignation of the existing +1
