Monday's My Day

Hmmmm, wouldn't it be nice if ITV1 had some nice new idents for their new 'Monday's My Day' strand?

Also, has anyone noticed the ITV Sport Channel logo on some ITV1 idents when they promote a programme on it? It appears in the bottom right corner for a bit whilst the announcer goes on about Darlington playing football on ITV Sport later on or something equally ludicrous. Strangely, it's always the same announcer when they appear. Hmmmm.....

Can't say I've noticed it here in the Carlton Central region. Is it only the Granada owned regions doing this?

There must be something against them doing this (some fussy ITC rule or something!). To use the 'itv' brand (which after all, is Independent Television) everywhere and promote their extra commercial channels like this on ITV1. I dunno, it just doesn't feel right!

Yes, they also put the ITV2 logo up sometimes in the bottom right hand corner of the hearts idents.

I have to say the Monday's My Day strand was very disappointing. The Sketch Show was desperately unfunny and childish it should have been part of Citv !

i quite enjoyed the sketch show - i think it will grow on you because things on itv1 arent generally THAT funny

The bets bit was the three guys having a pee in some urinals but not having enough hands to hold everything they wanted to - extremely funny stuff

ps i also found orrible over on bbc2 quite funny aswell!

maybe i was just in one of those moods where i was easily entertained!

I thought The Sketch Show was pretty funny!

As for the logo appearing in the corner - I saw this on Yorkshire over the weekend but Merdian don't do it.

The Sketch Show was alright, but (i've said it before, but love the show so..) watch Coupling(I know The Sketch Show is on after but anywho) 10pm BBC2 Mondays! Its great, a very good, tightly written sit com.

I'm afraid the ultimate sketch show was the 'Fast Show', the Sketch Show is nowhere near as good as that.

I think Monday's My Day will have its own idents when the new main idents are introduced.

Not really keen on Coupling or the sketch show, my favourite sketch show is Dead Ringers on Radio 4. A recommendation!
