Wonder if it's new 'BBC One Daily' branding...

I quite like the orange look at the moment

I think it could well be new BBC One Daily branding. It was exactly a year ago that the coffee cup, soup and flower identities were brought in.

Or knowing Geraint, he's been twiddling with the idents on BBC One Wales, and his face has now been inserted onto the side of every balloon ident (like Ben Elton did!)

Is this the slow end of the balloons?

They might actually decide to have a proper ident version (minus balloon) rather than those three second 'coming up' animations.

I'll of been watching already,because of the BBC London idents coming in! I'll be able to wake up a 6:00am because I once did a 24 hour TV ident marathon (Friday-Saturday 13,14th October 2000,7amFri-9amSat)

And my treasured 'A day in the life of Newsroom South East' That's every opening titles of the bulletins on one day in 2001 shortly before they moved out of Elstree into the temp studio! A lotta bloopers that day lemme tell ya.

RE EDIT:ooh,I didn't know I'd recorded an EARLIER Newsroom South East,in the days of 2 presenters! (Long gone when 'A day in the life of Newsroom South East' by me was recorded!)

RE EDIT:BTW,could someone record and send me the first Breakfast bulletin from South East Today? It'll be 6:27 am.

I like the music on the current BBC One Daily idents, especcially the long one where there are three programmes on the menu.

No you're all wrong. I heard that Moira Stewart is linking all the programmes on BBC One mornings, she will be dressed up like a housewife, wearing an apron and doing the dusting.
