Yes he can be nasty with his comments, but other things he says are not and are funny. I think the problem here is that you are essentially saying his fans are morons too? Now that is wrong to say, although i watch EastEnders, Big Brother and Loose Women so I'm use to being called all names under the sun because I choose to watch and listen to stuff which others do not like.

Frankie Boyle just is nasty not funny. The act tires very quickly, lots of morons like him though.

Is that a fact?

Yes.

Proven by whom... how can something subjective be a fact? Laughing

Proven by him not being funny. Wink

Further enhanced by the complete lack of audience reaction and increase of tumbleweeds everytime he opened his mouth on Mock the Week... Rolling Eyes

Really? See I like him & find him very funny but I also find Stephen Fry & Bill Bailey funny as well, does that still make me a moron?

EDIT: I do admit that he can go a bit overboard sometimes however.

I'd say it means you have moronic tendencies.

But what gives you the right to cast such judgements on people based on comedic taste alone? I don't find Frankie Boyle particularly funny but I don't go around chastising people who do. People have different comedic tastes, accept it and get off your pedestal.

Ever thought you might take people too seriously, Jonny?

Is this because I'm a Doctor Who fan as well? Wink

I'll be honest, sometimes he does go a little bit over the line but a lot of the time he makes me laugh, QI & Mock The Week are two of my favourite shows on TV at the moment, and in terms of tone of comedy they are a complete opposite of each other.

I suppose I just have a wide range of taste in comedy that's all Smile
