Is that a fact? Have you thought it could be that other people have a different sense of humour to you? Humour is entirely subjective after all.
I do find your comments ironic though: What I'd say is nasty, is to judge that other people who have different tastes to you, as intellectually inferior. I'd say that and making an objective judgement on what is (not) funny, doesn't exactly show a towering intellect on your part.
Well Frankie Boyle has done very well for somebody whose act "tires quickly", and good luck to him I say.
Frankie Boyle just is nasty not funny. The act tires very quickly, lots of morons like him though.

Proven by whom... how can something subjective be a fact?

What proof do you have? You're saying "he's not funny" doesn't prove that he is or isn't funny. To judge absolutely that he is (not) funny, would be fallacious, because humour is subjective-- proof is an objective quality.

It's the Rebecca Adlington thing, which proves all this. It's one thing to mock media professionals and politicians. But to pull apart the appearance of a young lady who's been unexpectedly sprung into the limelight, possibly coursing her massive self confidence issues and then to refuse to acknowledge, is just well despicable.
I'd agree it's subjective whether you think he's funny or night, but I don't think anyone could argue he isn't nasty.

I think he can be nasty on occasion, I don't think somebody like Rebecca Adlington deserves the jokes he made about her-- then again she won several gold Olympic medals-- so the joke is on Frankie there really!
I'd say somebody like Kerry Katona is fair game. Again, it all depends what you define as a nasty; given he's a comedian, he shouldn't be taken (that) seriously. However point taken about Frankie calling people "morons"; I'd say his usage is more flippant I'd say, given his general irreverant style-- can't say I condone it though... but he is from Glasgow, so we have to make allowances
In general I find Frankie funny, I like the way he can find humour in the dark side of life-- a healthy atittude to life I think-- I personally believe life is too short too take seriously. Given the choice of getting upset, depressed, angry, offended or having a sense of humour about life's misfortunes, I'd take the final option whenever I can!

Adlington however completely lost credibility with her coterie of other female British Swimmers in Beijing though, the Dame sequence following her victory was one of the most nauseous responses to winning a medal I've seen in my many years of sports viewing. Never liked her since, so I can see where the comedic venom could be generated from, whether it's justified or not.
