It owes a lot to HIGNFY - topical satirical news game (as opposed to quiz) but with a bit more scope for pure humour by very talented wits - Rory Bremner's impressions are a bonus. A suitable vehicle for Dara O'Brein, and great to see people as varied as Jo Brand and David Mitchell given a real opportunity to do what they do best - Peep Show aside of course

Fully agree - it's an excellent programme, really funny. I think the key to its success is having a panel of six great comedy talents, who essentially do snappy mini stand-up acts of their own - but always centred around current events, which makes it relevant.

Hugh Dennis is hilarious as is that Frankie bloke, and I'm always pleased to see Jo Brand on the show as well - I think she's easily the best of the female comics they've had on.

Hmm. Jo Brand tends to only provide her own comic material though.

I would suggest that he is better doing his freeform improvised flights of fancy on such shows than he is on The Peep Show, especially as Mitchell and Webb don't wrtie TPS. If you get a chance to hear theirRadio 4 sketch show (which is transfering to TV soon) listen it's superb

The Peep Show? Have you actually ever seen it? Laughing Wink

Yes, it's great.... but I prefer them (specifically David Mitchell) when they're doing their own stuff Smile
