Bless, did you think it was? Wink

No. How could it be, you can see the studio they're in in the background

you can see that view on the ITV.com website amongst others.
(any ideas where the webcam is though)

Hence the wink.

Nice amusing incident today on the BBC NC which highlights the problem of reading breaking news written by somebody else straight from the autocue. Bless...it was only moments away from the end of their shift!

LOL, that made for good telly in the end. I thought it was going to be cringeworthy, but they had a laugh about it. That's what I like about Simon and Carrie - they haven't got big egos. Some presenters would have got all huffy about misreading a word but those two just laugh it off. I love watching them with my morning cuppa.

I really hate the word "bless". I find it so patronising.

Sorry but I do.

Carrie momentarily reminded me of Patsy Stone (Joanna Lumley) when she showed her teeth and uttered "do we do aka?", in a similar way that Patsy would say "do we do Guccï?"

Someone got the timings wrong at ITV West today. The lunchtime bulletin ended about 20 secs too early.

The bulletin ended with the usual end sting, but the ITV prod slide stayed on screen for a little too long. Then it cut back to the presenter who recapped the main story and said another goodbye with another end sting, but half way through the sting it cut to the network 'next on itv1' graphic.

Looked very messy - should've kept the ITV prod slide on screen.

Got a few cock-ups on my sky+. Whats the easiest TV capture thingy I can get to upload stuff onto the net?

It happens a lot, there was a similar case a few weeks ago. A while back BBC World viewers who hadn't retuned their satelite recievers got a porn channel.

LWT once broadcast some lesbian porn during the Richard Littlejohn programme. The latter got loads of complaints... from people prefering the porn to Littlejohn

Well done Channel 4 for putting out a trailer for "7/7: The Angels of Edgware Road" at the end of the ad break half way through "7/7: The Angels of Edgware Road". Rolling Eyes

Also meant to point out a spelling mistake on some BBC News graphics on the other day's Six but I bet that's been mentioned in the BBC News thread already.
