Well done Channel 4 for putting out a trailer for "7/7: The Angels of Edgware Road" at the end of the ad break half way through "7/7: The Angels of Edgware Road". Rolling Eyes

They cocked up earlier at the end of Hollyoaks on T4, a V/O was played with an announcement for the Channel 4 helpline (to do with bereavement) but it had a caption for 'channel4.com/dispatches' and then suddenly a small caption for Channel 4 Radio popped up on the bottom right too.

Of course a timely capture of aforementioned errors would allow us all to snigger at the misfortune of our media icons Wink

Very funny situation on This Morning today; this woman was being interviewed and thought the interview was over and they were no longer on air. Then (as you do) she decided to go and sit on Eamonn's knee, before the two of them nearly ended up on the floor. Wondering why Ruth is continuing to talk to the camera, she then asks "Are we still on?" and we see the sheer look of horror on her face as she realises the programme is live! Classic!

What was the topic about? Had she overdosed on the prozac? Laughing

Also, I see Eamonn's doing a Schofield now with regards to grey matter.

Although not as impressive or interesting as the This Morning clip above, a report failed to play on The One Show on Tuesday which meant that they had time to show the opening titles of an old Top Gear episode.

Dave has just managed to screw up playout of an ad break. A black screen (with the Dave DOG) appeared after the Top Gear break sting, stayed there for a couple of minutes punctuated briefly by a still of May and Hammond, which was of a few seconds into the next part of the programme..

Then up came a caption

eventually crashing into a DFS ad a minute or two later.

Ha. Very Happy I like that "generator" comment on their breakdown slide. Very Happy

Reminds me of that picture someone posted on here a while ago of their server that said "Do not turn off the fan or the entire UKTV network falls off air". Very Happy

Some channels do have funny breakdown captions.

Of course, the CBBC "whoops" caption (and the one they have now, that says the've crashed).

And I also remember Nickelodeon having a breakdown caption with a doghouse on it saying they're 'dogged' by technical problems!
