I was going to put this in the newsroom, since it happened in one of the news studios (TC7), although it was actually on Working Lunch. which isn't made by BBC News.

I thought it would be nice to have a standing thread on gaffes and other general errors. There have been many since the relaunch of BBC-NC, but surely there must be many other similar errors for us to snigger at.

Anyway here's my opening contribution by Adam Shaw, who handled it rather well I thought:

I think this thread is OK, so long as it is only mistakes on programmes that haven't already got dedicated threads, otherwise it'll be 100 pages long by next week...

Yes, I was worried about that prospect. It's really just daft mistakes that aren't reported elsewhere. Something we can gather together at the end of the year as a seasonal treat... Laughing

We could release it on You-Tube as 'PANTS! by Uncle' perhaps!

I welcome this thread, sometimes I just have to post the programme mistakes in Broadcaster threads Wink

This happens surprisingly often on Working Lunch, but seeing as the team seem to be so genuinely into the show and enjoying themselves, I'll forgive them. Smile

They are indeed, I can't remember the name of the other presenter, but they have quite a banter. They have certainly made the show their own since Adrian Chiles was shifted off a few years ago. But this isn't a 'Working Lunch' thread, it's one for mishaps and errors....
