Starring John Cleese, Graham Chapman, Tim Brooke Taylor and Marti Feldman, this precursor to Monty Python is brought to you tonight, having being unearthed after many years of being missing!

8:35 pm Till Death Us Do Part
Arguments, Arguments: From 1966, the first ever episode of Johnny Speight's brilliant sitcom. Alf Garnett is already in fully formed bigot mode as he shares his thoughts on all the big issues.

9:05 pm Spike Milligan Presents
A remarkably young and energetic Spike Milligan was given his first TV outing as a solo performer in this BBC one-off special from 1966, missing for many years but now found!

9:30 pm The Old Campaigner
This pilot of Michael Pertwee's saucy sitcom was broadcast in 1967 as part of the BBC's groundbreaking Comedy Playhouse, and has recently been recovered. Stars Terry Thomas and Derek Fowldes.

10:00 pm Dad's Army
The Battle Of Godfrey's Cottage: Missing for over thirty years but recently found in a skip, this is a classic episode of the gentle Second World War comedy.

10:30 pm Parkinson
A chance to revisit 1977 and enjoy again Michael Parkinson's celebrated interview with one of Britain's finest actors, Sir Alec Guinness.

Well, thank goodness for that! I missed "At Last The 1948 Show" (I wanted to tape that) and the documentary. Sad

But I did catch the rest of the programmes, though. Smile
