Please don’t shoot me down if the answer is yes, but is there any video footage around of the 1984 Channel 4 Christmas ident? I believe this was a snowman in the shape of a 4, holding an umbrella, with snow falling around it.

There’s a still image on one of Sid N’s compilation videos - but no video anywhere that I can see.


don't know but I have found my missing nimbella video from pre October 1998 so I am happy

He has two border video and at least 100 Scottie videos Razz

In case you don't know ( ie everyone else) . He worked at all three Scottish stations.

That was fairly common from memory, lasted well into 2000 and possibly longer.

Not sure if we’ve discussed this Tyne Tees ident in any relevant threads. Skip to 20 seconds - the words “You’re watching TTTV” are signed rather than spoken. Possibly kind of promoting a programme called WoW for deaf children, produced by Tyne Tees around the same time.
