I loved that promo at the time, though thought it was quite odd that they should include an outtake from PCBH!

There's a few outtakes in it, all clips from Alright on The Night
It's very London centric that ITV promo, it even has one local LWT show in it. Did any of the other regions show it or have their own versions? Or was it just a London thing as that's where the decision makers are?

Others did broadcast it, central was one of them, because there is a clip.
I would love to know if there were local versions, but it could be the fact it was manily a networks content promo.

Weird - I am pretty sure a clock didn't exist for this package - is it possibly a fake?
It's real, I remember it
Here's a clip of it (complete with real world reception ghosting)

If anyone can be bothered to scale up and overlay the electronic version of the 'rainbow' TVS clock, we'll probably find the clock faces exactly match, in which case I suspect they cropped the rainbow clock and luminance key'd onto a blue TVS slide

and while on the subject of TVS, here's evidence (possibly, assuming it's genuine) that TVS (along with BBC 1 and 2) was available on some cable systems in Benelux countries. Look at 02:43, cuts to a Belgian test card, with 'ITV S' ident

The onscreen VHS graphics that appear, might indicate it's faked up
I've read that TVS and C4 were available in the 80s, (alongside BBC 1 and 2), but it didn't last long because commercial broadcasters protested to the IBA on the grounds of lost ad revenue ?

Using which Anglia transmitter ? both Sudbury and Taccy would have been very difficult to reliably receive in NL,
