BFI Online Database to the rescue...

Strange... Several BBC programmes have Ceefax listed and some ITV ones mention Oracle. But Only Fools and Horses and the Channel 4 programmes have Teletext listed instead! Why didn't they just use the word Subtitles?

Very interesting development... Especially that the themed night was from 1991; I had imagined it would've been circa mid-1990s (may have also been thinking along lines of Gaytime TV), so sort of intriguing that this ident is from the relatively early days of the look.

I'm sure there was some sort of gay night in 97/98. They had a few quirky theme nights around that era including a Blue Peter Night and Bridget Jones Night (referring to the book as the film hadn't been made at that stage).

Channel Four had a gay night in April 1998 to coincide with the screening of the coming out episode of Ellen, but BBC2 didn't.

There were lots of theme nights on BBC2 around 1998, though, they had an Evil Knieval Night, during which they showed the Bart The Daredevil episode of The Simpsons, and a Cuba Night where they showed the Trouble With Trillions episode of The Simpsons, which was far newer than the other episodes they were showing around the time (they also did a season of programmes about time at the same time and showed the backwards episode of Seinfeld, two and a half years before they showed the rest of the series that episode was from). And Politically Incorrect Night, which didn't include any episodes of The Simpsons.

Incidentally one of the other interesting things from that Saturday night schedule in 1991 is the HIGNFY repeat at 6.20, which was the earliest it was ever shown, but at the time it was shown pre-watershed quite regularly. Indeed I first started watching HIGNFY from the following series, in the spring of 1992, via the Saturday pre-watershed repeats.

In the first HIGNFY book, there's a page of rejected rounds for HIGNFY, one of which is "Guess What Time The Repeat's Going To Be On - completely impossible".

It seems Thames news is also has a number of its clips missing from the net, Can anyone remember the Green desk it used?

It seems STV Broadchunch ident is missing from 2013.

I have add a bit of a tidy up to try and make the list a bit more easier to understand and pinpoint issues, while also making corrections. Also some stuff has been found....
