How can anyone think that Sky Living It is called Sky Living I T? The "it" is styled as joined up writing! Unless it was a failed attempt at an ITV joke?

Perhaps he was reading from a list of channels in written in Times New Roman rather than a list of channels presented in their logo form?

I am listening to it at the moment. Thanks for the heads up, gottago. I have not listened to this in quite some time. I have enjoyed ??? Cream, 919 Dirty Talk and 924 Playboy Lesbian so far. I am sure he laughs when he reads those names.

It would still say It and not IT.

Perhaps all the names were written using majuscules only.

Argos TV is to close down soon and from what I've been told staff showed up to work yesterday but were locked out of the office so presumably what is being shown at the moment is pre-recorded.

My hunch with Argos TV is that someone has complained about dual pricing. To qualify for TV offered discounts only Telephone orders qualifed. Online orders maintaining the store pricing.

Argos is rumoured to possibly be the next big high street name in danger too, so I suspect some cost saving might be to play here. Considering how established Argos is I really don't see how a TV channel would have made them any extra money - if people want something from Argos they look online or in the catalogue, not watch a TV channel until the item they want comes up.

I'm not sure there's any evidence to suggest that such conditions are contrary to regulation. The Sit Up channels regularly have items whih can only be purchased over the phone for system-related reasons.

It always struck me that Argos TV was a good idea, just about 10-15 years late. Shopping telly isn't as powerful as it once was; Ideal World's future was uncertain a couple of years ago, and it's a long time since I've seen any of them boasting about growth.

The last hour was live, Tim Goodwin and a friend were selling a TV with EastEnders on it. It showed other programmes too, it was just about to show Room 101 when the hour finished.

Love it! Now all they have to do is make the idents match that design, with the old Sky 1 'shards'. If they did it would raise the channels 'image' right up.....

Viva has now appeared in the entertainment section of the Freesat EPG.

It's still in the music section on Sky though, so I wonder if it's going to be moved to the entertainment section at some point.

Hmm - I'm not sure. I think it would do it's viewership figures a few favours if it were to move.

Viva is a strange channel. It's probably the lowest-quality channel that I could watch with people I know for more than half-an-hour.
