I'd much rather see XFM TV. Cool

Did anyone see Q shut down for the last time? And if so they do anything special like The Hits did?

That's probably not very likely.

Talking about minor channels, PBS has been renamed PBS America, the DOG has been amended too.

How confusing!

That's a strange one. The suffix isn't needed, because the only other PBS... is the American PSB from which the British PBS gets it's branding.

Almost as pointless as the name "BBC America". Although they did perhaps see a need for a clearer name as the public isn't familiar with the three-letter initial PBS.

The website has also been moved and amended:

Of course this makes sense. Most people in this country won't realise what PBS is, adding America will give an indication it's American programming. So a common sense change.

Wasn't there a Heart branded TV channel many years ago?

There was a Classic FM TV, not sure about Heart.

Remember till about 3 years ago it was a London and Midlands only brand.

That's true, I'm just sure I've seen the heart logo on a TV channel

Youre possibly confusing it with Kiss TV, which at the time of its launch, had a heart in its logo?

At the Races had a new look a few weeks ago. I forget to mention it at the time as I don't receive this channel and only noticed it in passing.

What's pointless about the name 'BBC America'? It has to have a name of some sort, it can't just be 'BBC'
