As everyone loves a mega tread, I thought I would start this thread to point out small items of presentation that you would feel silly starting a new thread for. Things that you think other TV Forum members might find vaguely interesting but probably wouldn't spark pages of (or any) debate. Of course, if anything posted here speaks debate then the Mods could move those posts to their own thread.

E.g.

Movies4Men2 and Movies4Men2+1 (which I believe were on 325 and 326 on the Sky EPG) have been replaced with Movies4Men and Movies4Men+1 which have moved from Sky 323 and 324 which is now home to Sony Movies and Sony Movies+1. In reality, Sony have just purchased the company behind Movies4Men and renamed a couple of their channels to include the Sony name. They seem a little confused about what the channel is called though, the EPG says Sony Movies but the massive DOG says Sony Movie Channel.

In other news, Russia Today has been renamed to RT on the Sky EPG. It is still called Russia Today on Freeview.

Good initiative, I've occasionally wanted a megathread for minor things.

Russia Today has been officially known as "RT" for some time. Apparently they hadn't considered their EPG names until now.

The Space on Freeview HD channel 117 says "You do no have a compatible FreeviewHD device."

This is erroneous on two counts. The missing 'T' from the word 'not' and also the fact that I believe I do have a compatible Freeview HD device. I can certainly see Vision on 110, CCTV on 111 and Sports Tonight on 112.

... and these two channels rebranded Sony Movie Channel are no longer free to air, so no longer available to Freesat viewers.

But are still available to Freesat from Sky customers. Not sure why they moved the channels from FTA to FTV. Confused

In July, My Channel (Sky 219) will move to Sky 203. What happens to Showcase 2? I don't know.

I believe there is an EPG reshuffle at that time, so Showcase 2 will move down towards the 180s or so.

Showcase 2 moves to 192.

Do you have a source? Is there a website listing all the changes?

DS member Strathclyde is my source. He posts the info that Sky sends out to all the channels.

Here is a complete list of the EPG number changes occuring on Tuesday 3rd July (not all genres are reshuffling):
(list compiled by a different DS member following info from Strathclyde)

Quite a lot of empty slots in the EPG list, can anyone else fill them up?
