Am I right in thinking that at one point ITV wanted to have Dick & Dom on ITV? I know that attempt failed, so it seems that they have 'borrowed' their current show and replaced them with 3 different presenters.

Talking about the new target audience of 1 years old, has anyone noticed that the initals spell MOM! (OK so it's the american version but you get the point) a phrase often used by small children.
Razz

We don't know what the content will be exactly, we've only got a name!

Let's face it, it would be stupid of them to try and copy what Dick and Dom do on the BBC, afterall they've got that 'genre' well covered! Confused

I'd like the live format of SM:tv, with guests there, but not just pop bands. In a show that has games, competitions, viewer interaction, but no proper script, just things that they have to do, and things that they can use to cause mayhem, like gunge, and water pistols, and custard pies.

Infact the title makes me think that it will be like Tizwas.

I wonder what role Holly will play. As with Cat, she used to join in with everything, and was a ladette. Holly seems very girly (not a bad thing), prim, proper and most probably there to to calm and control situations.

I have to say, I'm with you all the way! Smile

Also, check out the title of chapter 10 of Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire! Laughing

I see. Mayhem of the Ministry. DO you think this IS where it came from? But what has a Ministry or what is the ministry that the title of the TV show is to be? The Mayhem speaks for itself!

Let's hope it doesn't involve Holly dressed as a nun (actually...sorry, drifted off there for a second!) or Stephen and Michael dressed as priests in some 'wacky' looking church! Laughing

lets hope not. Its most probably along the same lines as the ministry of sound.

Could be? I have to say the more I think about it, the more I like the title! As you said it's different, which has got to be a good thing.

By the way, do you know how I can change the title of this topic from 'ITV's New Saturday...' to 'Ministry of Mayhem'? Smile

Yeah go onto your first message (that you started the thread, or page one with), then edit, and where you initially put the title, put a new title. Simple.

Does anyone know if they will be keeping CD-UK or will that be included into the Ministry of Mayhem programme (and be retitled Ministry of Sound).

Michael Underwood was once a captain on a childrens version of The Crystal Maze.....

And he won his chance to star on CBBC on the Gaby Roslin show "Whatever you want"....

And he has appeared on Aunties bloomers a couple of times. Once when he smashed a plate during a cookery demo; Again when his co-host was dressed as a bunny and broke the set; and again when He thought he was off screen and was gesturing to a member of the crew in shot!

What a card!!!
