Well it seems now that in most ITV regions (including STV) Millionaire is on on Tuesday 4th September at 8pm, as well as on the weekends before and after! Is this just a one off or will this be a pernament change to the Millionaire schedules?

Presumebly it's there to fill in when their are no Champions league matches. And I suppose adding an extra episode of a programme is a better use for the slot rather than trying to run a series that is on one week and off the next for the football, etc.

It appears UTV are showing a repeat of a regional programme from a couple of months ago in that slot.

I remember them doing this with Celebrity Millioanire in the recent past. So may not be on Tuesday nights for the regular series.

The All New WWTBAM continued its impressive form yesterday with 5.7 million people watching!

Obviously, these changes to the format appear to be working! Very Happy

Good stuff! I'm glad WWTBAM is back on top form!

I was there to illustrate how big £1,000,000 in cash was. It was taken away after a couple of series because what would happen if the money when flying everywhere after the case was opened? An audience stamped perhaps.

I remember the case full of money in the early series, then suddenly they did away with that. Did the case contain genuine money though? Would Celador REALLY have put £1 million worth of genuine cash on display in the studio like that? Are you sure it wasn't dud money, just for show purposes (make believe)?

Ofcourse it wansnt real money and a million pounds would be a lot bigger. The money box stayed around till the end of US primtime version but is not seen on the daytime one, it was also on the aussie one but the set was much smaller as was podium. Austraila was I think about the 3rd Country to take Milllionaire however the top-prze was not won untill 2006 when it was on twice in the same month.

The American money box was designed to hold $400,000, but it was flled with fake cash.

Take a look here at a digital spy article of a potential who wants to be a millionaire spin off '50/50'. Is it just me who thinks the premise reminds them of the challenge gameshow Take It Or Leave It?

Take it Or Leave It is made by 2waytraffic so it may turn out to be pretty much the same show with a different name and channel.

They only just relaunched WWTBAM with new graphics and music, which has after two shows has pulled reasonably high audience figures. This spin-off could bring them back down again.

Like all children, Millionaire's offspring could be trouble. Despite that I'm looking forward to seeing it.

Another great show tonight - we finally got to hear the new background music for £50,000 and beyond! Very tense stuff - more intakes of breath, whooshing noises, a heartbeat and 4 long, slow, chilling notes! Excellent stuff! Very Happy

Also wouldn't it infringe some BBC copyright as they have a show called 50/50 with the two schools competing or am I talking utter tosh? Confused

It is the same style as the £1000 - £50,000 music. Nothing different except for the pitch. I have figured that the other background music is just a remix of the old. I was disapointed as i was looking forward to hearing it!

In the first 2 shows no one went past the £50,000 mark, now there's no stoping them!
