I think its all hideous and pointless. I can't see how any of these changes will help improve ratings. The graphics and music are just so cheap and tacky. I'm struggling to find anything to like about the changes.
When the show first started however many years ago, I thought everything looked rather classy, very different to any other gameshow. But it has slowly turned into something akin to a daytime quiz on Five or something.

It also failed on two occasions on London.
A bit bloody loud when it did, though.

What's going on with the Ragu ad-bumper? Bad upload?

I haven't seen the show with the changes yet but from the caps certainly the on-screen graphics are a nice fresh HD Ready improvement.

Oh I hate this new look millionaire. The music is vile it is just a punk-rocked up version of the original which wasn't much better if you ask me. I like the new in-show graphics but the titles are so cheap, american, tacky and ugly. In the old times, almost everyone got to £1000 so why get rid of the first 3 questions? You know what happens, when a show is on it's last legs they change the format... a lot, then it is axed. This is just going to speed up that progress. Thanks a lot 2waytra
thick
and stupid Independant Television. I also had problems with the adverts, it had a snowstorm-style noise (very loud).

The only people I know who still religiously watch Millionaire are people who like to join in answering questions, like my Grandad. And that type of audience, I imagine, won't warm to a "cheesy as you like" dumbed down, 3D, fluffy monstrosity.
It looks a right mess. The opening titles are dreadful and the music is unbelievably dire. The titles don't give the show any feeling. They're like regional radio news titles that go "Across Spixforth, New Prompton, Nuneaton, Scunthorpe and Little Chassington... this is radio local" - they've just taken a few graphics from the show, like the prize money indicators, and animated them. And it looks incredibly naff.
They aren't going to attract new viewers to this dated format. At best they can keep their core audience of 3 million that still watches it, but I think this new look is a bit of a turn off.
I agree with the sentiments about the original look - when it first started it was dark, it was moody and it was exciting. I love the opening titles with the people mesmerised by the lights and staring into the logo. It summed up what the show was about - people fixed on getting money, and lots of it.
Does anybody have a video of those original titles? I'd like to see them again, they were fantastic.
I don't know how I'd improve the show. I think broadcasting it live would be a lot more exciting, and you only have 30 seconds to answer the first few, and one minute to answer the later few. Also, broadcasting from around the country. Take the set to, for example, shopping centres, let an audience show up, and do it live with somebody from that local audience. I think it would get a real buzz about it.

Hi there,
I also had the problems with the advert just before Millionaire, very loud and irritating noise as it broke up from Black Hill.
To the poster above, the titles you ask for are around a minute into this video:

Finally, I hope they do release a new DVD game, and I'm pretty sure they will. As long as they actually let you see the studio this time while your answering the question, instead of staring at the screen. Have Chris read on the questions like they did in WWTBAM PS2 Game with the virtual 3D Chris!
Overall, I like the new look a lot. Although, I also remember when the show was 'must see TV', very dark and echoey, which I enjoyed also!
