Sounds alright...

But are there any changes to the lifelines...?

And is the set different to before...?

And is the music revamped or the titles...?

Or is that it?

I will tune in to see what happens! Don't forget, many gameshows have had subtle changes to their format over the years to make them fresh - so it makes sense for WWTBAM to try something new - but it will be a shame to see the old system go. Crying or Very sad

A lot of people say that WWTBAM should go - but it would be sad to see it end - I watched last Saturday's edition with Terry Wogan and Louis Wlash and thoroughly enjoyed the show as normal!

It all boils down to ITV wanting to reduce the gap between millionaires - hence the reduction of questions from 15 to 12.

But even when someone does go all the way, they'll still announce the fact before the episode is shown (presumably, successful contestants have to sign something waiving their ability to stop ITV spoiling the surprise). So what's the bloody point?

There have been quite a few shows which gave opted for major/significant changes in what later turns out to be their final series. If I recall The Krypton factor's final round completely changed in their final series, and on a similar note Noel's House Party had a significantly different set in its final series.

Maybe it's a last ditch effort sort of thing programmes do when the show is becoming exhausted and/or dropping in ratings. I can't help feeling that Millionaire is using up one of its lifelines, and it'll either keep the show going a few more series or mark its end.

Millionaire has just been sold to a new production company hasnt it, so that probably explains why changes are being made now

Telly Addicts definately did. And I couldn't make head nor tail of it!

From what I've heard. There will be a new musical score, graphics and titles. The set will remain the same. They usually use licks of paint every three years. The last set and titles revamp was back in 2004.

They should revamp the set quite a bit

Everytime I watch, its the set that lets it down, because its never really changed, it looks so old.

They will probbley use the Super Millionaire music which is pretty much the same. There is not much they can change about the iconic set.

Do you think they will update all the pub arcade games in all the inns and taverns across the land to use this new style game of Millionaire? Confused:

They update them anyway every couple of years.

Didn't Penny Smith co-present the final series?
