True legend, he will be missed.

Bit surprised no-one else has commented on this.

Very sad. Not listened to him for a while, but I used to enjoy his late night phone ins, even if I didn't always agree with all of his opinions!

"My health is not in question".

RIP

Probably because it has nothing to do with tv. Mrs Lazenby from down my road died on Monday night but she was 84 and I didn't think that a post on here was relevant.

No need to be so harsh!
RIP Mike Dickin.

Oh my goodness! Shocked

I used to listen to Mike whilst at work when he did the morning (currently Jon Gaunt) slot.

He was a legend of not only commercial radio but talk radio in particular.

RIP Mike.

I'm sure everyone on here is aware that this is a "tv" site - however Mike was a respected broadcaster and I'm sure no-one but the totally heartless could object to anyone, albeit a few people, paying their respects. That was totally uncalled for.

Well I don't see any respects being paid to Mrs Lazenby. Why is that?

I'm sure people who knew "Mrs Lazenby" are paying respects to her in their own way. As Mike Dickin is a broadcaster, and a very well known one at that, it seems fair that people would want to post even on a TV Forum about his death. Stop being a disrespectful nitpicking pr*ck!

I was never really fond of Mike Dickins attitude on some things, but he was a fantastic broadcaster, and his radio show was a great listen. May the king rest in peace.

Must admit wasn't a regular listener to the guy.

I kept wondering whether he'd make it to the end of the programme, with his breathing!

Only listen to Galloway, to see if he threatens to sue anyone & luckily my radio at work can't get AM, so I manage to avoid that ******* Gaunt, plus Doolan's on at the same time!

Jon Gaunt - now he's a big headed twonk! Clearly knows most of the public hate him so attempts to annoy them more.

We don't know who she was?

I'm ashamed to be part of your region.
