Looks like no Saturday morning children's programme on BBC2 on the 22nd July either according to the BBC Press Office site - in the listed progs for that day, Open Golf on BBC2 is listed as commencing transmission at 10am. Is there definitely a replacement show coming on for a few weeks before the winter show starts? At this rate. there's going to be very few weeks of transmission of it as mid-September seems to have been when summer show gives way to the winter show.

Back to basics meaning a la Going Live is plausible, as 'Xchange' used to cover a lot of the ground in the GL / L&K progs. Can see how Level Up comes out of Xchange but don't think that its format could be said to be based in any way on the Saturday morning shows.

Hopefully another format can also be nurtured on CBBC Channel, even if only as an alternative to the BBC2 Saturday morning show.
