I must say that I wouldn't have watched Pokemon if it wasn't on SM:tv, though I was more of a fan of the cartoons from when it began, Cow & Chicken, I am Weasel, Angry Beavers, and then Sabrina just topped it off.
Indeed. I'd rather have watched Cow & Chicken over one of the Marvel Comic based cartoons any day.
The X Men and Spider-Man cartoons in the 90's were great that were done by Universal before Warner Brothers took over. Cow and Chicken is crap give me the superb Johnny Bravo every single time!!

I concede the point as far as Cow and Chicken is concerned.
that said, though if someone was to air Samurai Pizza Cats, or the new Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles I'd be on it in an istant.

Um, X-men was a Saban production (They're the Power Ranger doods) and Spiderman was Marvel Studios (a fact that got them canceled by fox if Wikipedia is anyhting to go by). Universal had nothin' to do with 'em.
But my point stands, 1 of action and one of Comedy and my arse is on the seat.
Oh and Pokébattles made my saturday monring, that is all.

I didn't even know I typed Universal I thought I said Marvel!! God I'm tired
This takes me back to Phillip & Sarah on Going Live, but this was the good version before that wretched Universal version. And there was a sort of crossover with the then Spider-Man I seem to remember. However those were great cartoons that I actually looked forward to, not like the later Pokemon rubbsih that you got on SMTV Live.
The last MTOS really is today, the Hollyoaks thing was funny but must of been done ages ago as olivia said she was going to meet her boyfriend reece, no replacement next week as sport relief gets sub'd is on and reggie goes the extra mile is on too! Sportsround follows at 10:15 and then a film
I remember watching cartoons like Spiderman, X men and others like I AM Weasel which I rarely saw on SMTV. But I wasn't really fond watching Pokémon on saturday mornings because Ant & Dec would ruin it. I remember watching the first episode on SMTV and 5 seconds into the episode they pause it and start pretending to be funny all because one of the main characters mispronounce the word Pokémon.

It was the other way round for most people. Pokemon ruined SM:tv - it was just Ant & Dec which made it at all funny.
